Delightfully seasoned with rubbed sage, garlic and lemon juice, this evolution of our classic Celebration Roast 2 lb features a traditional bread stuffing made with fresh onions, celery, cranberries and butternut squash. As a special accompaniment to the roast, we offer you the perfect portion of our Porcini Mushroom Gravy. Simmered on the stovetop, the gravy combines the dark, rich, earthy flavor of porcini mushrooms with diced shiitakes to create the ultimate vegan gravy. A centerpiece, appetizer or sliced in a sandwich; our new Celebration Roast is still perfect for any occasion.

*Palm Oil Info from Field Roast

We source our palm oil from Daabon, a family-owned company based in north Colombia along the Caribbean coast. They’ve been in business since 1915 and are now in the third generation of ownership. Their palm oil is expeller-pressed (made without chemical solvents), organic and sustainable. We use palm oil because of its delicious flavor and mouth-feel AND it is the most efficient oil in regards to the energy input versus energy output–the most oil for the least energy.

Daabon is committed to sustainable practices through water, waste and methane management and the preservation of biodiversity. (Orangutans do not live in South America so they are not affected by the palm oil production, but animals native to Colombia including monkeys, iguanas and birds are protected). They are in alliance with Rainforest Action Network (RAN), the leading activist organization that has been most critical of palm oil agriculture. Daabon is a founding member of the Palm Oil Innovation Group (POIG), which promotes innovation and improvements in palm oil production on a range of environmental, social and supply chain issues. POIG is supported by well-known environmental NGOs like Greenpeace, World Wildlife Foundation and RAN.
